His exceptional managerial strengths & proactive work ethic along with his strong decision making & problem-solving skills enable him to execute solutions to keep the company moving in the forward direction and the customers’ expectations are met accordingly.

Dr. Shanthini Giritharan

Shanthi is a success driven and innovative Managing Director, Founder & Researcher at GPS Health Online Ltd, and further the Chief Financial Officer & Director of GPS Finance.

Further to this, Shanthi is an accomplished Research Scientist and a Fellow member of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences UK, having published 25+ research articles in various journals. She graduated from the University of Jaffna, and completed her Masters & Ph.D from the University of Peradeniya. Shanthi also was a lecturer at the University of Peradeniya and worked as a researcher at the University of Reading, UK, where she then on went to complete her Master of Business Administration (MBA in Management) at Webster University London.

Dr. R. Danapal

Dr. Ramasamy Danapal is the mentor of Harley Street Healthcare Group PLC and is qualified as a Doctor of Medicine. He has provided professional patient focused care to thousands of patients spanning over three decades. He is an experienced Accident & Emergency Medicine specialist with extensive knowledge in medical emergencies. He currently works for National Health Service (NHS) Royal Free Trust. He is also a Medical Advisor to several care homes in UK.

Prof. Shyam Kolvekar

Mr Shyamsunder Kolvekar is a globally-renowned consulant cardiothoracic surgeon based in central London. He specialises in coronary arterial bypass grafting, valve repair and aortic valve replacement alongside chest wall deformities and lung cancer. He privately practices at The Harley Street Clinic, Barts Heart Centre at St Bartholomew's Hospital and The Royal Free London Hospital Private Patients. He also works at The Wellington Hospital.

He is an internationally-recognised surgeon for the adult NUSS procedure that treats pectus excavatum (a condition where the breastbone is sunken into the chest). Mr Kolvekar prides himself in innovative new techniques for this treatment, allowing for better pain control and reduced risk from surgery.

Other specialist interests of Mr Kolvekar include open beating-heart surgery, cardiac arrhythmias and minimally-invasive cardiac surgery. He is also interested in ischaemic pre-conditioning of the heart and has thoracic practice in pneumothorax and pleural effusion.

Mr Kolvekar is highly qualified and is a senior lecturer at University College London. He lectures and teaches the NUSS procedure and connate minimally invasive surgery to surgeons from across the world. He also has research published in various international peer-reviewed journals and books. Furthermore, he also the medical advisor for the BBC hit series Holby City, making sure all the terms and scenarios are correct.

Dr. Asim Islam

Dr. Asim Islam is the Medical Director and Lead GP of a celebrated and successful private practice in prestigious Harley Street, “Harley Street Healthcare Clinic”. He is a graduate of Cambridge University and a General Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience, both as a Partner and as an Out of Hours GP. Dr Islam has a broad range of clinical experience at surgeries and Out of Hours where he performs regular face to face consultations, triage, and home visiting. He is a qualified GP trainer and is responsible for clinical training of registrars, nurse practitioners and medical students. As well as attaining a PhD in Mathematics from Royal Holloway and an MSc in Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London, he held a two-year Templeton Research Fellowship in Cambridge and has published research in Pure Mathematics and the Physics of Neuroscience.
